Flying Point Digital is a leading digital agency focused on retail, e-commerce and transactional marketing. They were looking for a new site design using the WordPress platform. Since Velvet Ink Media has all but perfected the use of WordPress this made us a perfect match.
We custom designed a site to their specifications and hand coded out a very sleek and professional looking site for them. The look is full of color, sleek yet professional.

PE International was in need of a business blog. We were more than happy to deliver this being that we are into the blogging thing these days. PEI needed something very clean, crisp, modern (of course) and easy to navigate. This made our job very easy.
Of course our secret weapon was WordPress. We custom designed and coded out a very sleek and professional looking blog with a strong focus on accessibility. It is quite challenging creating an information site and keeping the audience interested in visiting the site. We think we pulled this of with the use of JavaScripts, clean CSS/HTML and a touch of color.
This was a fun project. Not only did we get to work in our favorite development program (WordPress) but we also got the chance to develop a custom store in Magento.
Bella Paris Designs needed a modern, elegant and unique site that rivaled her competitors. We think we delivered and end some. The blog landing page alone can hang with the best of them with the rotating banner, social media and elegant layout.
That’s enough about us patting our own backs on the work we did. Go check it out for yourself.
Blackhawk Consulting provides integrated consulting, financial, technological, and training services nationwide to a variety of clients. They came to us to produce a brand-spanking-new website in a hurry.
What did we do? Well we whipped out our favorite platform (WordPress) and hand delivered a clean, crisp and user-efficient website. Development time took about 2-days. How’s that for fast food? But don’t let the quick WordPress development fool you. This site is still loaded with JavaScripts for dynamics and our custom Theme Options panel for ease of administration.
California Consumer Law is a website we developed for the Stone Law Firm. They were in need of creating a new website based on helping people with student loans and debt collectors.
SLF needed a site that was easy to read, find information and make contact. We did this by creating a very simple, clean and easy to navigate site. The site is built on WordPress which makes it easy to manage content, update image and publish a blog.
Yes another fun and elegant project brought to us by Savoir Faire Media. Simply Divine Events is an award winning event planner who needed an upgrade to their current site. As is the norm they needed something fresh, modern, elegant and classy. In addition to those typical items associated with event planning and wedding sites they needed a way to maintain and manage their own site. If you know us then you know our weapon of choice for CMS is WordPress.

Heidi Swapp is highly recognized around the world for her scrapbooking and crafts. Her website had to let her personality shine through and make her more accessible on the world wide web.
This project was particularly challenging. On the outside the site is modern, unique and fun to look at. Under the hood the engine running the show is quite complex. We developed a WordPress site that not only allows for many JavaScript animations, quick page loads and easy navigation but also included a custom e-commerce cart, multiple sidebars, widgets, galleries, video capabilities and a dynamic blog.
Overall this was a great project to work on and we learned quite a bit.
Amavida Coffee and Tea offers high quality, eco-friendly farming that helps protect our environment and ensure exceptional products. The end result is a collection of fantastic coffees and teas. They of course needed a fantastic website to sell their products to the world.
This is where Velvet Ink Media stepped up and developed a site that was not only informational but also very functional. Amavida sports a complex e-commerce system that allows customer login, multiple shipping options, order variations and more.
Do we have to say we developed the site on the WordPress platform? Of course we don’t because that is what we do here at VIM.

We achieved that by creating an open layout, using a simple, bold color pallet, sharp images and well-organized content. The website runs on WordPress CMS and features multiple JavaScript-enabled dynamics. Other technologies used in developing this website: Photoshop, HTML, CSS, PHP, MySQL.
VIP Eye Care & Optical Boutique is St. Petersburg’s first and largest. Dr. Henri started this business to answer the corporate world’s problem with turning out patients and offering a very limited set of eyewear.
Our job was to polish the current website and deliver the custom look of a boutique shop without taking away from what VIP is all about.
We think we accomplished this with the animated home page banner to the custom eyewear page featuring the large inventory of glasses to choose from.
Tools used on this project: Photoshop, HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript.
Deli-Boys, a deli shop in Tennessee, came to us with a goal to redesign their outdated, bland website. We handcrafted each detail of this website, including the logo; incorporated bold colors and high quality images.

Given that the website is low on content, we chose to open up the space available to us. We created a functional navigation to help organize the content and make access to information intuitive, fun and quick.
Tools used on this project: Photoshop, HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript.
Enchanted is a premium WordPress we developed for Savoir Faire Media with the sole purpose of creating a theme that was elegant, unique, powerful and catered to the wedding business.
The theme comes easy to use and set-up out of the gate with custom widgets, over 70 shortcodes and more.
Our premium feature is the vendor listing. This allows vendors of all sorts to purchase listings from you that show their company and services. Included in their purchase is also a custom admin panel where they can easily edit and maintain their own listing. It has no direct tie-in with the WordPress admin so it keeps your backend secure from clients.
Envision was another project done for the wonderful Savoir Faire Media. This project was a bit unique in the fact that it is two websites in one. Envision being one site and Metro Cuisine being another. Both sites are hosted/maintained in the same admin panel. We accomplished this by using WordPress’s multi-site feature. Instead of having two WP installs and log-ins, she actually only has one.
Even though this was a bit challenging it proved to be a valuable experience in finding out how far we can really push WordPress design and programming.
